About Us
JF Contracting Ltd is an Auckland and Waikato–based steelworks and site services contractor established in 2011 that keep projects moving.
We’ve delivered steelwork and on-site services on some of the region’s key commercial projects, including Commercial Bay, NZICC, City Rail Link (Aotea, K Road and Mt Eden), Westfield Newmarket and Massey University. Our core capability spans structural and secondary steel, welding and practical site services that keep programmes moving.
Our crews combine certified welders, experienced installers and working foremen who take ownership of their scope, coordinate with other trades, and hand work back finished, compliant and ready for sign-off.
What we do
Steelworks – Structural and secondary steel, both workshop and on-site. Internal beams and columns, shopfront steel, stairs and handrails, seismic bracing, retaining and support steel, plates and brackets, plus modifications and repairs to existing steelwork, all carried out by certified welders.
Site services – Remedials and make-good works, basic carpentry and formwork, grouting, painting and flashings, plus general labour and trade support to help close out programmes and punch-lists.
Supervision & labour – Site management and supervision, working foremen and small-to-larger crews as required, including nightshift and shutdown support, coordination with other trades, and clear reporting back to the main contractor.
